Reseller Training at Austco Offices
Great to have Engineers from our reseller and approved installer Virtus – Fire Security Data attending Austco’s offices in Bromsgrove this week for training on our Tacera and Medicom systems. We look forward to providing training for the next set of engineers.

Bespoke plates to make a tidy replacement of legacy systems while ensuring HTM compliance is something Austco have been doing for many years. This means we can install flush-fitting product to existing medical trunking, as well as to wall installations where the previous product may be much larger than our call points. This reduces the time and cost of making good, making replacement as easy and cost effective as possible.
In addition to this, we are now on the NOE CPC Framework for Security Services (Lot 3: Nurse Call Systems) which means systems can be replaced without the need to go out to Tender. And it isn’t just the trusts that are members of the NOE CPC that can benefit from this, but any NHS Trust. For further information on this, please e-mail info.uk@austco.com .
Adaptation to project requirements
Another tidy installation ready for hand-over. The adaptation of our plate manufacture makes for tidy flush-mounting. Another great job by the UK team.
Tacera Upgrade Path
Our current Medicom installations can be upgraded to Tacera in a number of ways. One of those is to start with a Hybrid system that brings many benefits of the Tacera system, while utilising the existing Medicom hardware. This week we have been out discussing this with clients and demonstrating the advantages of a Tacera solution.

Works at a new Emergency department have been completed, and our system up and running. We have integrated with a wireless nurse call system in order to give a global overview of alarms.

Appointment to Framework Agreement
Austco Healthcare (UK) are delighted to announce that we have been appointed to the North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative Framework Agreement for Security Services (Lot 3: Nurse Call Systems). This is an exciting step forward for us and we look forward to working with the members of NOE CPC, and letting them see the innovative Nurse Call and clinical communication solutions we have to offer.
